Surgical removal of the squeaky, plastic bit of a (typically) soft toy. Usually performed by a curious–or annoyed–pet.
The best drink for a cat might not be the filtered water that you dutifully provide. At least, not from the cat’s perspective.
Last month saw us at the Renaissance Festival, in Gold Canyon..
Always strange to see what Americans do with the ‘re-enactments’, so different from those in the UK…
…Starting with the buildings.

Sometimes it just happens–someone walks into your home, calls it ‘theirs’, and adopts you. That’s what happened to us recently when the little lady below decided she needed someone to feed her on a regular basis and provide her with cuddles and scratches behind the ears. No name yet. She’ll let us know in time, I’m sure.

We saw this on the way home from an afternoon spent with friends. Hopefully a sign of things to come. The clouds behind the rainbow started to part and the sun’s rays sliced through the colours, leaving an unusual effect. I played with the settings a bit to show some cloud detail.

This layout is temporary, but it’s a start, and my next update might be a while to give me time to get things cleaned up and uploaded.
See you soon.
